Beginning with the end of the movie a shocking post credit scene involving Nick Fury floated around.
The post credit scene revealed that the Scrull(seen in Captain Marvel) Talos at some point replaced Nick Fury on earth.
Yes, you heard it right.
It is a major plot development for a character which seemed to be at its end with the official ending of the Phase 3 of the MCU with Far From Home.
After the events of Avengers:Endgame it was likely that the characters that had been in this universe with the beginning will soon meet its end before the starting of Phase 4. But Marvel seems to be trying to do what it does best which is keep fans guessing and engaged with its content no matter how good or average it seemed.
We will talk in more detail about that persona of him from the comics later.
Many fans were expecting this after the introduction of Scrulls in the MCU with Captain Marvel although it came to be a surprise that Scrulls weren't bad at all.
So does a Scrull replacing Nick Fury a normal thing or it means something more??
Well, who knows when we are dealing with Marvel.
Also, the studio should be appreciated in its efforts with Far From Home as the obvious Mysterio twist still kept the fans guessing (thanks to the wonderful act by Jake Gyllenhaal) and occupied with its screenplay.
