Spider-Man No Longer in the MCU!!!

Spider-Man is no longer a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Spider-Man No Longer in the MCU!!!

The news broke out after Sony confirmed that it will not be negotiating with Disney over the rights of Spiderman, in return taking the joint rights of Spiderman movies to itself.

This move was much speculated when Venom came into the theatres and even after the critics bashing it went on to become one of the highest-grossing Superhero movies ahead of many Marvel movies and previous Spiderman movies.

The success should have given hope to Sony for its Spiderman failures. Sony has been down on its luck with solely producing superhero movies. Till now, Kevin Feige was the lead person producing the movies for Sony while fulfilling the role of a visionary for the company.

Spider-Man No Longer in the MCU!!!

The man who was behind the grand success of MCU himself working on the movies would have been the best deal although Sony demanded more control over the movie-making process which inturns turned to this.

Marvel now cannot use the character related to the Spider-Verse ( SpiderMan Universe) in their movies now. Sony will have all the rights and will be single-handedly producing and distributing the movies.

No wonder why the decision has been taken, Spiderman- Far From Home recently crossed the 1 Billion dollar mark at the box office and became the first SpiderMan movie to do so also the First for Sony Pictures.

Sony Pictures reportedly revealed that they talked about the inclusion of Venom in the MCU after its global success. Which seems to be a very interesting setup for fans and we were excited on the same level after we knew that Deadpool will now be officially in the MCU.

The decision didn't seem to please the fans as they know that Sony is as good in making Spiderman movies as Fox was in making X-Men movies.

Fans are raging and want the Spiderman back in the MCU.
