It's been a long time since Joker released so I am expecting that you guys have seen the movie and maybe enjoyed it.
But some people didn't.
So let's talk about it.
Jacquein Phoenix Joker is truly impressive and it also engages audience with the aid of the screenplay and strong story telling but the concept is as expected dark and disturbing to some extent. This should have been expected from Warner Bros. because a standalone Joker movie cannot be a happy rom-com and no one is expecting that.
Although the studios take it to the next level and potrays a character which is definitely dented and flawed as we all know about Joker thanks to the performance of legendary Heath Ledger and his portrayal of Joker in the Dark Knight which set the benchmark for the character.
Hence the studio could not take a risk in reinventing the image of Joker for their upcoming projects. This movie is so important for DC that they didn't even gave a second thought for its not so superhero storytelling.
This story is not of Joker but Arthur who is not thrown into a chemical but is thrown into a society that is corrupted and is ruthless towards weak and differently abled people. The story marks the journey of a young man going through so much in his life that make him the representative of the image of his deepest fears and what will be the outcomes if he truly accepts it.
Now let's talk about why some people don't like the movie.
Well one word answer is it is disturbing to watch the raw pain of a differently abled.
Talking about the verdict of movie then it is a masterpiece which potrays the raw emotions and reflects the reality of the society.
